Two Poets
This is a new video of an old poem (one of the first poems I ever wrote. I included it my first collection, The Human Experience, in 2007). These characters, from classic paintings, seemed like they'd be a perfect fit for a little video. (Blended with care, not AI.) :)

Two Poets
Their lives were poetry
elegant, metered and rhymed.
Then she entered his poem
and into her verse he climbed.
Meter’s graceful logic lost
rhyme giving way to abyss

to the free verse of love,
the chaos and charm
​
the epoch poem
of two lives entwined.
